A creative journey...
Robin’s fascination with makeup began at the age of seven, recreating her favorite cover looks on close friends and family. In the mid-eighties, at the height of fashion’s creative renaissance, she traveled to Europe in search of inspiration, living in Milan and Paris for over two years. There, she refined her signature approach — immaculate, translucent skin, luminous creamy textures that add light to the face, and makeup seamlessly melted into the complexion. These elements would become the hallmarks of her work.
For more than three decades, Robin’s makeup artistry has enhanced the faces of some of the industry’s most celebrated women, including Kate Winslet, Keri Russell, Anna Paquin, Parker Posey, Sarita Choudhury, Gisele Bündchen, Adriana Lima, Heidi Klum, Jessica Simpson, Ashley Graham, Laura Benanti, Jessica Biel, and Elle Macpherson. Her meticulous eye for detail and inventive sensibility have led to collaborations on prestigious campaigns for Urban Decay, Rimmel, Origins, and Prescriptives.
Robin’s beauty and fashion work have appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, W, Vogue Italia, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, InStyle, Town & Country, L’Officiel, and Glamour.
MAC cosmetics recognized Robin as one of the industry’s leading artists. She is a recipient of The Knot’s Best of Weddings Award, and her work has been featured in Make-Up Artist Magazine. Robin has presented six masterclasses for MAC Cosmetics in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, lectured at the Makeup Designory School (MUD) in New York City, and remains an ongoing beauty contributor to the luxury lifestyle publication Ocean Blue World.
